Cures
Cures was an ancient town of the Sabines north-east of Rome, near modern Fara in Sabina. Roman legend made it the home of the Sabine king Titus Tatius and of Numa Pompilius, Rome's second king. Ancient writers derived Quirites, a name for the citizens of Rome, from Cures.
