Curicaueri
Curicaueri was the fire and sun god of the Purépecha of western Mexico, patron of the ruling Uacúsecha lineage and of the Purépecha state. Priests kept fires burning in his honour on temple platforms, and war was waged to supply him with captives and firewood. The Relación de Michoacán is the main source for his cult.
