Tokushima
Tokushima is a city on the east coast of Shikoku, Japan, at the mouth of the Yoshino river, and the capital of Tokushima Prefecture. It grew as the castle town of the Hachisuka lords, who built Tokushima Castle after receiving Awa province in 1585 and ruled from it until 1871. The city is known for the Awa Odori dance festival and for its historic trade in indigo dye.
