Trebinje

Trebinje is a town in the south of Bosnia and Herzegovina, on the Trebišnjica river close to Dubrovnik. In the early Middle Ages it was the centre of the Serb principality of Travunia, later passing to Serbia and then to Bosnia. Under Ottoman rule from the 15th century it gained its walled old town and the 16th-century Arslanagić Bridge, and it is now part of Republika Srpska.
