Uch Sharif
Uch Sharif is a historic town in the southern Punjab of Pakistan, near the confluence of the Chenab and Sutlej rivers. In the thirteenth century it was a political centre of Nasir ad-Din Qabacha and a refuge for scholars fleeing the Mongols, and it became a great centre of Sufism. Its tiled tombs of Sufi saints, from the fifteenth century, are its best-known monuments.
