Vathy
Vathy is the main town and port of the Greek island of Samos, on a deep bay of its north-eastern coast. It grew in the 19th century and served as the capital of the autonomous Principality of Samos under Ottoman suzerainty, with the prince's residence and the island's assembly. It is now the administrative centre of the island.
