Warmadewa dynasty
The Warmadewa dynasty ruled Bali for much of the 10th and 11th centuries, beginning with Sri Kesari Warmadewa, named on the Belanjong pillar of 914. Its kings, including Udayana and Anak Wungsu, ruled from the Pejeng and Bedulu area and issued inscriptions in Old Balinese and later Old Javanese. Their marriage ties with the courts of East Java brought strong Javanese influence.
