Person
Wei Zheng
Wei Zheng was a statesman and adviser of the early Tang Dynasty, famous as the remonstrance official of Emperor Taizong. Accounts of the Tang Dynasty note that Taizong famously accepted Wei Zheng's blunt criticisms. Their relationship became a model of sagely governance idealised in Chinese political thought for centuries.
