Wei River (Shandong)
The Wei River of Shandong is a river of the Shandong peninsula in eastern China, flowing north into the Bohai Sea. In 203 BCE the Han general Han Xin won a battle on it against the army of Qi and its Chu allies under Long Ju, by releasing water held back with sandbags. The victory gave him control of Qi.
