Yasinia

Also known as Kőrösmező

Yasinia is a mountain settlement in Zakarpattia oblast, western Ukraine, near the source of the Tisza in the Carpathians. Formerly part of the Kingdom of Hungary, it was the centre of the short-lived Hutsul Republic of 1918-1919, until Romanian troops occupied it in June 1919. It is now a centre for tourism and skiing.
