Person
Zhizhi
Zhizhi was a Xiongnu chanyu of the first century BCE, a brother and rival of Huhanye during the civil war that split the Xiongnu Empire. While Huhanye submitted to the Han Dynasty, Zhizhi led his followers westward. Accounts of the Xiongnu Empire treat this division as a stage in the empire's decline; Zhizhi was later killed by a Han expedition in Central Asia.
