Adityasena was a king of the Later Gupta dynasty of Magadha in the second half of the 7th century. After the death of Harsha he restored his family's power in Magadha, took the title of maharajadhiraja and is said to have performed the horse sacrifice. His Aphsad inscription traces the dynasty from its founder, and his line kept ties with the Maukharis and with Nepal.
