Nepal

Nepal is a Himalayan country between Tibet and the plains of northern India. In the late eighteenth century the Gorkha kingdom of Nepal clashed with Tibet, prompting Qing intervention. The campaign against Nepal was counted among the Qianlong Emperor's Ten Great Campaigns, which marked the furthest projection of Qing Empire military power.
