Angkor Borei
Angkor Borei is a town and archaeological site in Takeo province in southern Cambodia, near the Vietnamese border. Excavations have revealed brick walls, canals linking it to the port of Oc Eo, and occupation from the late 1st millennium BCE, and many scholars see it as a major centre, perhaps a capital, of Funan. It has also yielded important early Hindu and Buddhist sculpture.
