Bad Kreuznach

Also known as Kreuznach

Bad Kreuznach is a spa town on the Nahe in Rhineland-Palatinate, south-west of Mainz. It was the centre of the Front County of Sponheim and was later shared between the Electoral Palatinate and Baden. Its brine springs made it a spa from the 19th century, and in 1917–1918 it was the seat of the German army's supreme headquarters.
