Bad Lippspringe
Bad Lippspringe is a spa town at the source of the Lippe river near Paderborn in North Rhine-Westphalia, Germany. Charlemagne held Frankish assemblies there during the Saxon Wars, notably in 782, when he organised Saxony into counties shortly before the Saxon rising under Widukind. It later developed as a health resort.
