Banyuwangi
Banyuwangi is a regency and town at the eastern tip of Java in Indonesia, facing Bali across the Bali Strait. It covers much of the territory of the former Hindu kingdom of Blambangan, which the Dutch East India Company conquered in the 1760s and 1770s. Its Osing people keep a distinct language and culture.
