Barakah nuclear power plant
The Barakah nuclear power plant, in the Al Dhafra region of western Abu Dhabi, is the first nuclear power station in the Arab world. Built by a South Korean consortium led by KEPCO, its four reactors were connected to the grid between 2020 and 2024, and together they supply about a quarter of the electricity of the United Arab Emirates.
