Battle of Hazalo
The Battle of Hazalo was a defeat suffered by the army of Emir Nur ibn Mujahid of Adal in the period after Imam Ahmad's death. Harar's walls could protect the city but not the surrounding countryside. The battle illustrates the military weakness that contributed to the decline of the Adal Sultanate.
