Battle of Tukaroi
The Battle of Tukaroi was fought on 3 March 1575 near the village of Tukaroi in present-day Balasore district, Odisha, India, between the Mughal army of Akbar under Munim Khan and Todar Mal and Daud Khan Karrani, sultan of Bengal. Daud was defeated and signed the Treaty of Katak, giving up Bengal and Bihar, but he soon renewed the war and was finally defeated at Rajmahal in 1576.
