Blanche I of Navarre
Blanche I (1387–1441) was queen of Navarre from 1425 to 1441. A daughter of Charles III the Noble, she was first married to Martin I of Sicily and then, in 1420, to John of Aragon, later John II. On her death her husband kept the crown instead of yielding it to their son Charles, Prince of Viana, which led to the Navarrese civil war between the Agramontese and Beaumontese factions.
