Bopolu

Bopolu is a town in north-western Liberia, now the capital of Gbarpolu County. In the early 19th century it was the centre of the Condo Confederation of Sao Boso, a market town where caravans from the interior exchanged goods with traders from the coast. Agents of the American settlers at Monrovia visited it to secure trade routes.
