Brskovo
Brskovo was a medieval mining town in the north of present-day Montenegro, near Mojkovac. Developed in the mid-13th century under King Stefan Uroš I with the help of Saxon miners, it was the first important silver mine of medieval Serbia, with its own mint and colonies of merchants from Ragusa and Kotor. It declined in the 14th century as larger mines such as Novo Brdo developed.
