Person
Cadwgan ap Bleddyn
Cadwgan ap Bleddyn was a prince of Powys, son of Bleddyn ap Cynfyn. He fought the Normans in Wales from the 1090s and, with his brothers Iorwerth and Maredudd, was drawn into the conflicts of the March and the rebellion of Robert of Bellême in 1102. The raids of his son Owain repeatedly cost him his lands, and he was killed by his nephew Madog ap Rhiryd in 1111.
