Cap Malheureux

Cap Malheureux is a cape and village at the northern tip of Mauritius. In late November 1810 a large British force from India landed nearby to invade the French Isle de France, which surrendered on 3 December. The village is known for its small red-roofed church facing the islets off the coast.
