Chameria
Chameria is a coastal region of Epirus in north-western Greece and the far south of Albania, lying roughly between the Kalamas river and Butrint. Albanian clans settled there in the late Middle Ages, and it formed part of the Despotate of Epirus and later of Ottoman Epirus. Its Muslim Cham Albanian population was expelled into Albania in 1944–1945, an event still disputed between the two countries.
