Changamire
Changamire was the title of the rulers of the Rozvi Empire on the Zimbabwe plateau, taken from the founder Changamire Dombo. The title had earlier been associated with a powerful figure within the Mutapa state. The rise of the Changamire dynasty in the late seventeenth century supplanted Mutapa authority over much of the region.
