The Convention Parliament of 1660 was an English parliament elected without royal writ after General George Monck restored the members excluded from the Long Parliament. Meeting in April 1660, it accepted Charles II's Declaration of Breda and proclaimed him king, ending the republic of the Commonwealth and the Protectorate. It passed the Act of Indemnity and Oblivion before its dissolution in December.
