Crevillent
Crevillent is a town at the foot of the Sierra de Crevillent in the province of Alicante, Valencian Community, Spain. After Murcia came under Castilian overlordship in the 1240s, it remained an autonomous Muslim lordship under the Banu Hudayr family until about 1318, when it was absorbed into the Kingdom of Valencia. Its Muslim population survived as Mudéjars and later Moriscos until the expulsion of 1609.
