Daleminzia
Daleminzia, or Glomaci, was a Slavic tribal territory on the middle Elbe around Lommatzsch in present-day Saxony, inhabited by a Sorbian tribe. In 929 the East Frankish king Henry the Fowler stormed its stronghold of Gana and founded the castle of Meissen nearby, bringing the region under German rule. The area became the core of the Margraviate of Meissen.
