Drumanagh

Drumanagh is a promontory fort on the coast of north County Dublin, near Loughshinny, enclosed by ditches across the neck of a headland. Finds of Roman coins and other objects of the 1st and 2nd centuries CE have made it the most debated evidence of Roman contact with Ireland, usually interpreted as a trading site rather than a military base.
