Also known as Geographia

The Geography (Geographia) is a work by the second-century Greek scholar Claudius Ptolemy, describing the known world with coordinates. It records a joint expedition in which a Roman officer accompanied the Garamantian king south into sub-Saharan Africa, which accounts of the Garamantian Empire cite as evidence of Garamantian sovereignty.
