Dubnovellaunus

c. 25 BCE–10 CE · 1st century BCE

Dubnovellaunus was a British king of the late 1st century BCE and early 1st century CE known from coins issued in Kent and among the Trinovantes of Essex. He is probably the British king Dumnobellaunus who, according to the Res Gestae of Augustus, fled to the emperor as a suppliant. Whether the coins name one ruler or two of the same name is debated.
