Bigbury Camp

Bigbury Camp is an Iron Age hillfort near Canterbury in Kent, England, covering about 10 hectares. It is probably the stronghold that Julius Caesar's Seventh Legion stormed in 54 BCE, and finds from it include iron tools, slave chains and horse gear. It was later replaced as the regional centre by the oppidum at Canterbury.
