Eustace Grenier

d. 1123 · 12th century · Also known as Eustace Garnier

Eustace Grenier was a knight from northern France who became one of the great barons of the crusader Kingdom of Jerusalem. King Baldwin I granted him Sidon after its surrender in 1110, and he also held Caesarea from about the same time; his descendants kept both lordships for generations. In 1123, while King Baldwin II was a prisoner of the Artuqids, Eustace served as regent of the kingdom, dying later that year.
