d. c. 300 · 3rd century · Also known as Saints Felix and Regula

Felix and Regula are the patron saints of Zürich, a brother and sister said by legend to have been soldiers of the Theban Legion who fled to Zürich and were beheaded there for their Christian faith around 300. Their cult developed in the Carolingian period around the Grossmünster and the Fraumünster, and they appear on the seal and arms of the city.
