Limmat
The Limmat is a river in northern Switzerland that flows out of Lake Zürich through the city of Zürich and runs north-west for about 35 kilometres to join the Aare. The old town of Zürich lies on both banks. In the Reformation the Anabaptist Felix Manz was executed by drowning in the river in 1527.
