Lindenhof
The Lindenhof is a hill and public square in the old town of Zürich, above the left bank of the Limmat. A late Roman fort stood there, protecting the customs post of Turicum, and it was later the site of a Carolingian palace. Today it is a tree-shaded park and one of the oldest settled spots in the city.
