Fidesz
Fidesz is a Hungarian political party founded in 1988 as a liberal alliance of young democrats, which under Viktor Orbán moved to national conservatism. It governed from 1998 to 2002 and won a two-thirds majority in 2010, which it used to adopt a new constitution, the Fundamental Law of 2011. It repeated its two-thirds majorities in later elections.
