1876–1941 · 20th century · Also known as Fyodor Goloshchekin

Filipp Goloshchekin was a Bolshevik official who, as a leader in the Urals, helped organise the execution of the Romanov family in 1918. As first secretary of the Communist Party in Kazakhstan from 1925 to 1933 he pushed forced collectivisation and the settlement of the nomads, which led to the famine of 1930–1933. He was arrested in 1939 and shot in 1941.
