German cruiser Blücher
Blücher was an Admiral Hipper-class heavy cruiser of the German navy, commissioned in 1939. On 9 April 1940, leading the force sent to seize Oslo during the invasion of Norway, she was sunk in the Drøbak Narrows by guns and torpedoes from the old Oscarsborg fortress. The delay allowed King Haakon VII, the government and the gold reserves to escape the capital.
