Giovanni di Vico
Giovanni di Vico was prefect of Rome and lord of Viterbo and much of northern Lazio in the mid-14th century, while the popes lived at Avignon. Cardinal Gil Álvarez de Albornoz defeated him in 1354 and restored papal authority over Viterbo, though he was allowed to keep some lands.
