Gloucestershire

Gloucestershire is a county in south-west England, with its county town at Gloucester. It includes the Cotswold hills, the vale of the Severn and the Forest of Dean, and contains Cirencester, the Roman Corinium. In the late Iron Age it was the land of the Dobunni, and in the early Anglo-Saxon period part of the kingdom of the Hwicce.
