Guadalhorce

Also known as Guadalhorce River

The Guadalhorce is the main river of the province of Málaga in Andalusia, southern Spain, flowing about 150 km to the Mediterranean just west of Málaga. In antiquity its estuary was a deep bay where the Phoenicians founded the settlement of Cerro del Villar. Its lower valley is now a fertile farming area.
