Hall of the Ambassadors (Alhambra)
The Hall of the Ambassadors (Salón de Embajadores) is the largest room of the Nasrid palaces of the Alhambra in Granada, inside the Comares Tower, and served as the throne room of the emirs. Built under Yusuf I in the fourteenth century, it has a carved wooden dome of thousands of pieces representing the seven heavens of Islamic cosmology, and walls covered in stucco, tilework and inscriptions.
