Heo Hwang-ok
Heo Hwang-ok is the legendary queen of King Suro, founder of Geumgwan Gaya in Korea. The Samguk yusa says she arrived by sea in 48 CE from a distant land called Ayuta, which many in modern times identify with Ayodhya in India. Many Koreans of the Gimhae Kim and Heo clans trace their descent from her, and her reputed tomb is in Gimhae.
