Huastec Adolescent
The Huastec Adolescent is a limestone statue of a young man, made by the Huastec people of north-eastern Mexico in the Postclassic period and found at Tamuín, San Luis Potosí. The naked figure, carrying a child on its back and covered with incised designs, is often identified with a god associated with Quetzalcoatl. It is among the best-known works of Mesoamerican sculpture.
