Hvalsey Church

Hvalsey Church is a ruined stone church of the Norse Eastern Settlement in southern Greenland, near modern Qaqortoq, and the best-preserved Norse building in Greenland. A wedding held there in September 1408, recorded in Icelandic documents, is the last written record of the Norse Greenlanders. The ruins are part of the Kujataa World Heritage Site.
