1212–1228 · 13th century · Also known as Yolande of Brienne

Isabella II, also called Yolande of Brienne, was queen of Jerusalem from 1212 to 1228, inheriting the crown as an infant from her mother Maria of Montferrat. In 1225 she married Emperor Frederick II, who took the royal title, and she died in 1228 shortly after giving birth to their son Conrad. Through her the kingdom's crown passed to the Hohenstaufen dynasty.
