Ishhi-Addu
Ishhi-Addu was king of Qatna in western Syria in the early 18th century BCE, known from the archives of Mari. He allied with Shamshi-Adad I of Upper Mesopotamia and married his daughter to Shamshi-Adad's son Yasmah-Addu, king at Mari. His letters show Qatna as a leading power of central Syria and a rival of Yamhad, and he was succeeded by his son Amut-pi-El II.
